After our recent article on the safety risks of old tyres it is only fitting we look at the recycling of tyres. At the Tyre Blog, whilst browsing around, we came across a few examples of recycled tyres but in an artistic manner.

Number 1:

Tire sculpture: Sculpture outside offices in Antwerp of yes, a urinating dog, made of tires. Definitely a site-specific installation. Debcha at Flikr

Tyre Sculpture

Number 2:

Tyre Rocker. Brandon, Vermont USA. Public sculpture installation outside a restaurant: a rocking chair made from recycled parts. Donshall at Flikr
